What does it take to be an ICT student?
It take so many. But first, I would like to share my experience. First, I entered the room with so many computer units around the long white rectangle table, I was very excited and I said to myself,"I can explore the Universe." Why? Now, we teenagers, our lives now is circulating with the technology. Without them sometimes we are getting bored and exhaustible. But what really it takes to be like that? One is you can learn more on how to create a files on HTML. Two is if you are illiterate in operating a computer, you can learn there. A student can also learn the thing he should known in the history of internet. And I am very proud to be an ICT student.
Now that I am going to graduate in high school, I know all of these days we are going to use these things we have learned. And to our teacher, Ma'am Eve, We salute you for the knowledge you have should and shared to us. We love you Ma'am. Thank you and God bless!

My Dream, My Future
Everyone of us starts dreaming when a person is still a child.Our parents taught us how to dream for what we want to be. And it keep going until now. We're still dreaming to be the best of all, to be successful for our future life and family.
I still remember the day I first dream for my future. I was too little that time. Now that I am becoming college student, I should think of what course I am going to take. Thinking for a million times. Because being a college student, its not easy, it is a preparation for our future. We should take it serious because maybe someday if we done our decisions wrong we would be blaming ourselves. But back to my dream, I want to become an educated person and successful teacher someday. Simple but meaningful. Becoming a teacher is not easy but because of my determination to serve and teach small children, I can do it.
But I can only reach my dreams, if I would study harder and if will seek God's guidance for my study and decisions. And also if I will listen and obey my parents advice. I know I can reach it.

Change: It Starts With Me
Change is just a simple word but it has many meanings.
In our time, there are so many inappropriate happenings in this world. There are so many temptation that every person can encounter in their lives so they are pushed to do bad things. And they are becoming wicked. But we must also notice ourselves if we are the same; not changing ourselves to be bad and cruel person but we must prioritize ourselves to be progressive and more faithful to GOD.
we should change in a good way. Being a Teenager is not easy because nowadays, teenagers like me is very crucial. In this stage, there are so many temptation that we can encounter in our lives. But over that temptation, we should resists. An if we have done something wrong, we should change. And it must start within us. Or in other words it should start with me.

Kannawidan Festival
Here in Ilocos Sur, we had celebrated the 5th Kannawidan Festival last January 28 to February 5, 2012.
But, what is Kannawidan?
Kannawidan is an Iluko term which means feast of all heritages, practices and products in Ilocos Sur, it showcase and promotes our old costumes ,traditions, culture and products to strengthen the demand of people.
So in that simple explanation. The government of Ilocos Sur promotes this Ylocos Festival to remember and reminisce the culture of Ilocos Sur. This Ylocos Festival was launched five years ago in front of Provincial Capitol Hall and Quadrangle, Plaza Salcedo, Plaza Encarnacion and President Quirino Stadium.
So, we Ilocanos let us celebrate Kannawidan Festival very memorable and exciting.

Reflection for the Third Grading Period
The school year 2011-2012 is becoming more challenging. And its becoming nearer and nearer to end. But how we had participated this third grading period? Are we really ought to pass the way we act?
This third grading period, I knew to myself that I've tried my best. But I'm not only trying, I've done my best to participate and to include myself in class. To excel in all my subjects. Since i was cut off to the Top Achievers, I'm so very sad. And I have failed my one goal.
So, in this grading, I've strive very, very hard to study. Thinking what would be again the consequences if I would always playing my studies.

New Year, New Me
New year, new life. New for everything and everything might happen.
When 2011 ends, I promise to myself that I would try to change my bad personalities, my bad habits and my bad thoughts. Since then I notice that everything goes through whenever we want to. But there are always a hindrance to pursue ourselves to change things. But in my life now, I have been started to change my bad habits, my pride and my temper but it is not so easy for me. But sometimes, i cannot do what I've promise to myself because there are some person who can't understand what would might happen if they always insist what they want. but I know, it is great challenge for me to pursue myself to become a better as I want.
Now it's 2012,I will not try to change but i will do it. Because i know, I am the only one that will be benefited if I trust myself to change

Keeping in mind our Mother Tongue
Why we should keep in mind our mother's tongue?
Once our mother thought us good things, clear things, and correct wrong things means she cares about us. In my own experiences, I have always hear advises from my mother. Its help me to be s good person and to avoid strangers and that may harm me. There are consequences whenever I obey and disobey the advises which my mother thought to me. We are very blessed to have our mother's concern. She is the angel that god brought to us.
Let us thank her for all the sacrifices she had made, Because since then, when we are still a child, she is our first teacher. First, who thought good things which we could use in our life now. yes, we have known already between the good and evil but still we should always be reminded for the things which our mother thought to us. We should still seek her advises for us to know what is the best among the best. Because the quote "Mother Knows Best" is really true if we really do.

The Essence of Christmas
In the Philippines, we celebrate Christmas. We remember the birth of Christ, we do gift giving, and we are forgiving. But without the true essence of Christmas, you can't find the meaning of it.
Christ was born in Bethlehem through Mary. He was born sinless and a perfect example. Christ gave true peace, happiness, love and hope. He also shared His knowledge to us. That's what essence of Christmas means. In our homes and society, lets bring love, hope, happiness, peace and sharing. Don't let angry, hatred and contentions covers around us.
But we must always remember that everyday is Christmas. Not only this December 25 we bring the true peace, love, happiness, hope and sharing but also everyday. and surely our Savior Jesus Christ would be happy for us.

"Equal rights, Equal Opputunities"
Living things here on earth, always wants an equality.
Poor people always dream of equal rights and equal opportunities as rich people has. But in our society today, do we see an equal rights and opportunities for the rich and poor? I don't think so, because many people doesn't have enough money to supply their needs. Because when they are finding a job, the company which they are applying didn't allow them to work for them coz they have a "PALAKASAN SYSTEM". So they are forced to do things which ifor themselves that may lead them to prison.
As people in the society, why don't we help them to work with integrity and have job instead of being "tambay" and doing bad things and crimes. Because having an equal rights and equal opportunities leads us to peaceful community.

"Responding To Climate Change"
Nowadays,we observe that our country the Philippines, experience climate change. We could feel that our climate become different. Like in this month of December, we must feel the cold wind but the rain drop is falling.
In this problem, we should thin a very important and idealistic solution that we may contribute in our country so we can respond to climate change. But it is difficult to us to do so. We always cut trees that cause flood and very hot temperature. We also destroyed the ozone layer that protects us from the sunlight, that causes at present a very temperature and skin disease. So instead of burning biodegradable materials, let us buried them under the soil and that will help us buying fertilizers. We can also recycle non biodegradable materials that are still useful and we will become artistic.
These are some ways that keeps us suffering from climate change. And sometimes it causes to our death. So, as a youth, we should help and doing things and idealistic solution for our better life and better future

Reflection
On our second grading, our ICT became more exciting and more discoveries.
Our teacher let us learn and discover on how to create a website by using HTML Tags. We we're all amazed especially those who are first timers to create a website. We all used the tags that are appropriate in our activity. Sometimes, we commit errors in our activity but we should review our work to be done correctly and appropriately. Those mistakes and errors that I committed is a sign for me that not all things I could know yet but that's not a hindrance for me to do well in school. I should do things that make myself grow. We also continue sharing ideas and comments by using www.blogger.com. Our ideas were shared all over the world. We become more realistic on the things that are happening on our days.

CHEMERGY: Chemistry and Science Club in Synergy
Now, the start of "ber" months, we feel the cold air that breezes on the north. And we feel the essence of Christmas. As we feel those things, we all know that September is the Science Month. With its theme "CHEMERGY: CHEMISTRY AND SCIENCE CLUB IN SYNERGY."
So, what is chemistry and science club?
Chemistry is the study of structures, properties and compositions of substances and of the changes they undergo which leads us to inventions of new things. It can make our country better if it produces more inventions of things that is new to the eyes of every persons. Science Club and Chemistry are always partners for the great success. Science Club always sees the beautification of our surroundings and help our country reduces waste and problems.
Chemistry can help and promote our country to a better one as well as the Science Club. When both of them combined through the help of Synergy. Surely we can say that these two would be more effective, mopre powerful and more helpful. And it lead us to very satisfying life.

In our modern day, we could see that the technology is very powerful. It can make our work easier and faster. But how can we promote digital literacy through English proficiency?
We can see in every corner of the world that technology growth and we could learn a lot from this through literating ourselves to use those digital things. On this month of October, we celebrate the English Olympics Month with the theme "PROMOTING DIGITAL LITERACY THROUGH ENGLISH PROFICIENCY". In our school, Ilocos Sur National High School, we celebrate this kind of activity which keep us through English proficiency by participating, helping and supporting this activity.
We all know that technology are very important in our lives now because it can help us and literate us that can lead us on being proficient. So let us support English Olympics month. Let us move forward With digital literacy through English proficiency.

My Teacher, My Hero
Who's the most special teacher in your life? I know all of has had.
Way back in the year 1999 , that was the first time I entered the school in Puerto Princesa,Palawan. There, I met the best teacher I ever had. I still remember when I was Day Care, my first teacher in school who became my teacher as well as my hero. Her loving tender care opened my eye to become good also to others. She's my second mother in school who taught us not only basic lessons but also good manners. The disease (diabetic) she had is not a hindrance to teach us in her very best . Even though she is old now, I can still remember the way she taught us. I am glad that I met Mrs. Gloria Marapao in my life.
Eleven years from now, I am happy that I had reach this level of my education. This time, I am now graduating high school. because of her, I become a good student. I am very thankful for her. My Teacher, My Hero.

My Modern Day Hero
Heroes are not meant to be a mighty man with extraordinary strength like batman,superman,wonder woman,spider man and etc. In reality there's no batman nor spider man who could help us to fight aliens. Heroes are the person who could help us change and who could be with us in the flow of our life.
Sometimes our hero is our parents,special someone and also the Lord Jesus Christ. And those persons who change our lives we always call them as "Your My Hero."
For me, my hero just exist. He is my friend,the friend of mine but in reality I am loving him secretly. When I first met him, my life become brighter and more beautiful. Whenever we communicate, I feel happy. He change the flow of my life. Whenever I woke up in the morning, he is one of many reasons why I am happy living on this beautiful world. It is Hard to hide my feelings to him but I am doing my best to last our friendship longer. But I know it wouldn't do. But as I said before even though we're just friend,still,he's my hero.
On this earth, fantastical heroes are not true but as a human, we can be a hero in our own way.

Don't Always Blame (SONA)
How marvelous works you have done in our counttry!In every single word you say has been praised in every Filipinos.
Last July 25,2011,it is the day where in President Benigno Simeon C. Aquino III expressed his gratitude and he shared his accomplishments (SONA) for the project he had done.But as we think it over,he always blame the Arroyo Administration and he always compare the way he govern his people.Yes!He had done many things but instead if doing those,he must focus himdelf on his own way giving a higher quality of economy in the Philippines other than blaming others.
But as we realized,are all those things he had say contains truthfulness?Or his purpose is to earn applauses to become the best?Maybe its true but sometimes we don't know.But President Aquino should stop making all those.he must be humble,stop critizicing and focus on his projects.

Let him take mommy's milk. Because it is the best food of a baby for the first six months. Why? It has colostrum, that helps your baby protects from infections. It has no cost as well as it is clean and easy to digest. And helps baby become closer to her mother. Theres so many benefits that baby can havein this simple breastfeeding. Don't get mad if your figure would change but it is the most nutritious food that we can give to our babies.
So, what makes baby stronger? Simply!, you only give the best of you and feed her the best food that she can have and that is her mommy's milk. Generally , ''Let us Support breastfeeding--- sufficient,correct, and exclusive!''
